Since 1986 Pininfarina expanded its consolidated design expertise outside the automotive sector establishing its own direction and a clear identity in the areas of Architecture and interiors, industrial Design, Graphics & Packaging and Transportation design.  
With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a: 

 

SENIOR EXTERIOR AUTOMOTIVE DESIGNER


Key Responsibilities:
 
  • INDEPENDENTLY PROVIDE ORIGINAL IDEAS within the deadline, respecting the vision outlined by the client and Pininfarina design management, through the creation of high quality sketches, respecting perspective/proportions/macro feasibility.
 
  • Create PHOTO-REAL RENDERS IN PHOTOSHOP, and GIF/Aftereffects/Blender animations if necessary.
 
  • Create POLYGONAL MODELS IN BLENDER OR ALIAS SUBD.
 
  • Create eye-catching RENDERS IN VRED, KEYSHOT OR BLENDER.
 
  •  SELF-CREATE ALIAS MODELS to a high standard with clear and evident construction, to provide a solid reference to the CAS team.
 
  • ACTIVELY EXPLORE AND INTRODUCE AI TOOLS into the workflow where necessary.

Requirements:
 
  • Experience - At least 5 years in an OEM or tier 1 supplier
  • Qualification - Diploma/ Bachelors/ Masters in Product/ Automotive/ Transportation Design.
  • Languages – English. Italian at an operational level is an advantage.
