Since 1986 Pininfarina expanded its consolidated design expertise outside the automotive sector establishing its own direction and a clear identity in the areas of Architecture and interiors, industrial Design, Graphics & Packaging and Transportation design.  


With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a: 

CHIEF CREATIVE INTERIOR AUTOMOTIVE DESIGNER


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the activity of assigned designers in terms of time, quality of designs, creative quality and consistency in accordance with the (Vice) Design Direction.
  • Participates and contributes to internal and external presentations, ensuring the overall quality and timeliness of the required supports
  • Management of the motivation and engagement of designers assigned to the project
  • Be the operational point of contact for representatives of Virtual Modeling, 3D Area, and Vehicle Architecture
  • Must ensure the creative quality of the virtual model and the physical model, in collaboration with the representatives of the various Functions assigned to the project.
  • Must follow stylistic/technical convergence (anomaly sheets).
  • Must update the (Vice) Design Direction on its creative progress and report any support deficiencies of the various Functions in advance.
  • Collaborates directly with the Design Partnership Manager of the assigned project to organize the activities under his/her charge.
  • Must contribute to the continuous renewal and improvement of the creative and representational quality of 2D/3D media to be presented to clients.
  • Acts as a reference of creativity and design expertise within the studio and contributes to the research and training of new creative resources.
  • Assumes a role of official reference and representation to Design schools and associated events that will be assigned to him/her.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Qualification: Bachelor/Master Degree in Transportation Design
  • Experience: at least 10 years
  • Languages: advanced knowledge of English (C1)


SKILLS:
  • Provide original ideas
  • Create photo realistic 2D renders in Photoshop
  • Polygonal 3D modeling
  • 3D NURBS modeling
  • Create renders in Vred, Keyshot or Blender
  • Follow the project (CAS, Virtual Lab, ENGINEERING, etc.).
  • Follow the project (through prototype or production)
  • Follow the project (quality/vision of other designers)
  • Be Pininfarina's ambassador to the customer.
