PROGRAM OVERVIEW 

The Pininfarina Architecture Summer School is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary architectural design, blending Pininfarina's rich automotive heritage with innovative architectural practices. This intensive program will focus on three core pillars:

Program Details 
  • Duration: 2 weeks (July 06th - July 17th, 2026) 
  • Location: Pininfarina Headquarters, Turin, Italy 
  • Language of Instruction: English 
  • Participants: Up to 20 students

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To ensure a diverse and dynamic learning environment, we welcome applications from: 
  • Recent Graduates: Individuals who have completed their degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, Product Design or related fields within the last two years
  • Young Professionals: Architects and designers with a portfolio of practical experience in the field 
Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for innovative design, a keen interest in interdisciplinary approaches, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  
Proficiency in English is required, as it is the language of instruction for the course. 
We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations to apply, as we value the unique perspectives each participant brings to the program. A basic understanding of automotive design principles is beneficial but not mandatory. 

Application process 
  1. Initial Screening: All applicants must upload their CV and Portfolios + Presentation letter (max. 12mb) will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by an internal Pininfarina board. 
  2. Portfolio Evaluation: A panel of Pininfarina architects and designers will assess each applicant's portfolio based on creativity, originality, technical skill, understanding of design principles, and potential for growth. 
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a video interview

TUITION AND COSTS 

This overview provides a detailed breakdown of tuition costs, mandatory fees, and additional expenses associated with the summer course.

Participant Contribution: €750

What is included in the program cost
  • Accommodation in a vibrant hotel in Turin 
  • Daily meals 
  • Materials and Supplies 
  • 60h overall program, including international guest lecturers 
  • Local transport transfers from Turin to Cambiano headquarter 
Additional expenses 
  • Evening meals: estimated meal costs can range from €25 to €40 per day, depending on dining choices. A budget of approximately €400 for two weeks is recommended. 
  • Travel Expenses: aside local transfers provided by Pininfarina, students should budget for travel from their place of origin to Turin, Italy, and return. Costs will vary based on the point of origin and mode of transportation and will be managed independently by candidates. 
  • Eventual Visa costs: attendants shall be eligible to travel in the country for the 2 weeks. 
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2026

Pininfarina aims to attract the best talents in order to amplify the understanding of its outstanding technical excellence, making its own industrial philosophy a trademark for future collaborations. 
These scholarships are designed to support talented individuals who demonstrate outstanding potential in architectural design and innovation. 
Every candidate is warmly invited to apply for the scholarship program. 

Scholarship eligibility criteria 

To be considered for a scholarship, candidates must

  1. CV + Portfolio + Presentation letter (max. 12mb)
Scholarship selection process 
  1. Initial Screening: All applications will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by Pininfarina 
  2. Portfolio Evaluation: A panel of Pininfarina architects and designers will assess each applicant's portfolio based on creativity, originality, technical skill, understanding of design principles, and potential for growth 
  3. Presentation letter: The presentation letter will be evaluated for clear articulation of career goals, alignment with Pininfarina's design philosophy, innovative ideas, and commitment to sustainability and social impact 
  4. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a video interview 
  5. Final Selection: Scholarships will be awarded based on a holistic assessment of the candidate's application, portfolio, interview performance, and presentation letter. 

Notification and Acceptance 

Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 31st, 2026
Accepted candidates must confirm their participation within 5 days of notification with the payment of 750,00 €
Every confirmed candidate will receive and email including all the details for the payment procedure. 

Refund policy  

In case of cancellation, the participant’s contribution will be refunded only if the notice of absence is sent via email by June 14th. After this deadline, the contribution will not be refunded.
In case of non-attendance in presence for the whole period of the course, the contribution won't be refunded. 

Terms and Conditions 

Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain excellent attendance and participation throughout the course. 
A brief report on the summer course experience must be submitted upon completion of the program. 
Pininfarina reserves the right to use the names and photographs of scholarship recipients for promotional purposes.

Only profiles that meet the above requirements will be considered. 
The present announcement is open to all genders according to Laws no. 903/77 and 125/91, ages and nationalities, according to Legislative Decrees no. 215/03 and 216/03.
